The idea for the Woobie Store began with a cherished family tradition. My grandma used to make microwaveable rice bags for me and all my cousins when we were kids. These comforting creations, which we affectionately called "Woobies," were a source of warmth and relief. As we grew older, we started making them as gifts for our friends. The demand grew so much that we decided to open a store to share these wonderful Woobies with everyone.
What is a Woobie?
A Woobie is a handcrafted cotton fabric bag filled with white rice and essential oils. It can be used as a microwaveable heating pad or an ice pack. Simply microwave it for 2-3 minutes for soothing heat, or freeze it for at least an hour for a refreshing cold pack. We use high-quality cotton fabrics like canvas, blushed flannel, and denim, along with essential oils such as lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, fur pine, and cinnamon.

Our Woobies are made with 100% natural ingredients and materials. Each one is hand-cut, hand-pinned, and sewn into a bag shape of 8x12inches. We buy unique fabrics from our local fabric store and soak the rice in essential oils for added therapeutic benefits. The entire process takes about an hour, and it’s just me and my fiancé crafting each Woobie with love and care.
